1. Introduction

WashQuote, operated by Sparks Support Pty Ltd, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account info: name, email, business name, phone
  • Business data: customers, quotes, invoices, job details, notes, photos
  • Payment info: processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
  • Usage data: features used, device type, anonymised analytics via PostHog
  • Auth data from Clerk, payment status from Stripe

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the service, process payments, send transactional emails, respond to support, and improve the product. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

4. Your Customer Data

Data you enter about your customers belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service.

5. How We Share Information

We share your information only with service providers who help us operate WashQuote:

  • • Clerk: authentication and user management
  • • Stripe: payment processing
  • • Neon: database hosting (Postgres, US-based)
  • • Google Cloud Storage: photo and file storage (US-based)
  • • Cloudflare: content delivery network and DDoS protection
  • • Railway: API server hosting
  • • Vercel: app and website hosting
  • • Resend: transactional email delivery
  • • PostHog: anonymised product analytics
  • • Sentry: anonymised error tracking

We share with legal authorities only if required by law. We do not share your data with any other parties.

6. Data Storage and Security

Data stored in the United States. We use HTTPS/TLS encryption, encrypted storage, and access controls. We will notify you promptly of any breach.

7. Photos

Photos you upload are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage (US-based). Never used for AI training. Never shared with third parties. Deleted 30 days after account termination.

8. Data Retention

Data retained while account is active. After cancellation, retained 30 days then permanently deleted. Request immediate deletion at team@washquote.app.

9. Your Rights

Access, correct, delete, or export your data. Opt out of marketing emails. Contact team@washquote.app. We respond within 30 days.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what we collect, delete their data, and opt out of data sales (we do not sell data).

11. Children's Privacy

WashQuote is not for anyone under 18. Contact us immediately if you believe we have collected data from a minor.

12. Cookies and Tracking

Essential cookies for auth/sessions only. PostHog for anonymised analytics. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

13. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes.
